If you choose to join the in-person kickoff, you'll complete your first program courses at Hult Ashridge. Take your Program Immersion and Authentic Leadership I course on campus together with your classmates and kick off the year in person.

Meet your peers and professors in person. This weekend is an opportunity for you to make international connections and exchange ideas. You'll form a bond that will enhance online team engagement for the remainder of the program.

In this intensive course, you’ll practice essential business skills to prepare for the program. You’ll assess your readiness on essential concepts and tools for industry and career preparation and begin to develop communication and teamwork skills. This is where you’ll take the time to reflect on your personal journey and build a strong foundation for the program and professional success.

Authentic Leadership I: Leadership Journey (1 graduate credit)
This first leadership course will help you develop the best of who you are. Becoming an authentic leader is a lifelong journey with many obstacles. Balancing multiple limitations against aspirations, values, and competencies takes great skill. Staying true to yourself while adapting to the diverse and changing needs of organizations and others is an ever-evolving challenge. This course, led by Professor Dr. Amanda Nimon Peters, will lay the foundation for your authentic leadership today and in the future.

Dr. Jennifer Serowick
Dr. Jennifer (Jen) Serowick, Ed.D, is the Dean of Online and Partnership Programs at Hult.
Jen has spent her career in higher education administration and has focused her research and work on adult learners. Jen has a doctorate in leadership and wholeheartedly supports Hult’s mission to grow “leaders who do” and make a positive impact.
Jen’s role as Dean includes supporting students throughout their MBA journey and working alongside the online MBA team and faculty to deliver a high-quality, impactful, and enjoyable MBA experience.

Margareta James
Margareta is a professor of leadership and personal development at Hult International Business School. She draws from her business, psychology, neuroscience, and coaching consultancy background to enable current and future leaders to get the results they seek through maximizing their potential and ultimate wellbeing.
She also designs and delivers executive-level learning and development programs and has worked with senior executives from companies, including Rolls Royce, 3M, Arthur J Gallagher, BAE Systems, Experian, Ford, Google, Microsoft, IBM, Vertu, KPMG, Vodafone, Weller Media Agency, and many others. Margareta’s work and thinking attracts much media interest via various media channels, newspapers, and magazines including the BBC, Financial Times, MTV1, Channel 4, and many more. Margareta is also the founder and director of the Harley Street Wellbeing Clinic.

The Global Online MBA kickoff is held at our stunning Hult Ashridge campus, your home away from home. Outside of class, you can use the many spaces and facilities to reflect, get to know your classmates from all over the world, and unwind with your peers.
During your stay, you can access all our facilities, as well as explore the gardens and cycling trails around the Ashridge estate.
The Vault
With a warm and intimate atmosphere infused with history, the Vault is the perfect spot to enjoy fine wines, hand-crafted spirits, elegant cocktails, and local beers. British and foreign royalty, prime ministers, and the most famous writers and artists of the day were all entertained within these same walls. It's the perfect spot to unwind after a day of intense learning.
The Lifestyle Centre
The Ashridge House gym has superb rest and relaxation facilities to refresh the mind, body, and soul. With a swimming pool, sauna, and hot tub, as well as a well-equipped gym and tennis courts, we also offer daily fitness classes. Outside, there are plenty of scenic running and biking trails through our 190 acres of countryside.
The Bakehouse
The Bakehouse is an artisanal café nestled in the stunning courtyard of Ashridge House. Bustling and friendly, it’s the perfect place to take a break while gazing at the majestic architecture of the house. A scenic destination for dog walkers, strollers, and cyclists, The Bakehouse is open 8:30am-5pm daily for breakfast and lunch.
