Hult’s MIB (Master of International Business) students recently visited Shanghai Volkswagen Automotive Co., Ltd for a V.I.P. tour of operations by Senior Management. The students were given an in-depth introduction to the Volkswagen brand, its history and business expansion, and were invited to inspect the entire high-tech assembly line including the installation of parts and engines. A leading car-manufacturer in China, the company attributes its success in the global auto market to its spirit of “making top performance [vehicles] and always striving for the best.” Given our experience at Shanghai Volkswagen Automotive Co., Ltd, we would have to agree.
