On October 29th and 30th, Hult’s Dubai Campus has invited Col Wahi, Chairman of SP Wahi Management & Technology Consultants, and Rakesh Wahi, Vice President of CNBC Africa, Global Institute, Capital Management Advisors as the executive guest speakers. The topics mainly focus on Leadership & Strategy and Emerging markets.

About the Speaker:

Mr. Col Wahi is a corporate legend in India who is best known for his leadership role in building long-term sustainable organizations. During his illustrious career, Mr. Wahi has held several prestigious positions including the Chairman of the Oil and Natural Gas Commission (ONGC – 1981-1989), Chairman & Managing Director of the Cement Corporation of India (CCI), Chairman Bharat Ophthalmic Glass Ltd. and the Chairman of the Standing Committee of Public Enterprises (SCOPE).

In recognition of his outstanding contribution to the oil sector in India, Mr. Wahi was awarded the Padma Bhushan, a National award in 1987 by the President of India. Mr. Wahi was given Life Time Achievement Award for his contribution in the Upstream Oil Sector by Petrotech Society, India, in January 2007.

Mr. Rakesh Wahi is the founding partner of Capital Management Advisors (CMA) and since its inception in 2002, he has been serving as Chairman and Managing Director. He is responsible for the sourcing, planning and execution of all investment banking mandates for CMA in the Middle East, Indian Sub Continent, Africa, Asia and the United States. Mr. Wahi has been involved with several corporate development projects, feasibility studies, investment evaluations and transactions in the cable, satellite, television, telecommunications, and education industries in the Middle East over the last 14 years. These transactions include the setting up of CNBC Africa, CNBC Arabia, CNBC Pakistan and Streamlink Communications where he was involved with the projects from inception to capitalization. Additionally he participated in the established of P. Document Solutions Private Limited, India (exited in 2007), Tech Distribution Lanka Limited (Sri Lanka) and Tech Distribution (Brunei) Limited. Mr. Wahi also serves on the Board of these Companies. He was awarded the Vishist Sewa Medal by the President of India Mr. Zail Singh.
