Hult SF began its third year by welcoming the first round of the class of 2013 with an action-packed orientation on August 30 and 31. Less than two weeks after the 2012 graduation, 160 new MBA candidates arrived for the two-day event, where they met and mingled with their fellow students and got some insight on the exciting and challenging year ahead. In addition to learning the ins and outs of the upcoming academic year, the new students learned about life in the Bay Area – which of course includes a briefing on what to do in case of an earthquake! – enjoyed lunch from a couple of the city’s famous food trucks, and picked up their iPads, which all Hult students receive at the start of the year.
The MBA students are among the 600 students in total who will be studying at the San Francisco campus this year. With building updates and renovations – including a bigger cafeteria space, iMac labs throughout campus, lots of additional study space, and a growing staff – the school is ready to host about 120 more students than last year.
The 2012-2013 year is shaping up to be a very exciting one, with many new additions and improvements to the San Francisco campus and curriculum. We will be offering a Masters of Social Entrepreneurship program for the first time in San Francisco this year, and Twitter co-founder Biz Stone will be featured at our Executive Speaker Series in October.
