Hult International Business School, the world’s only true global business school, has announced plans to open a new campus in San Francisco in 2010, adding to its existing stable of campuses in Boston, London, Dubai, and Shanghai.
Hult already gives students the edge with a one-year MBA program, in which coursework and projects can be completed in half the time of other schools. Beginning in 2010, Hult students can also study in San Francisco, taking advantage of the school’s unique global rotation program which allows them to study in multiple locations during their program, embarking on an internationally transformative experience that no other business school can offer.
“Imagine taking a course in Islamic banking in Dubai, or being in Shanghai while studying how to do business in China” says Hult’s President Dr. Stephen Hodges. “That kind of total experience builds a true understanding of how business is conducted throughout the world.”
A compressed timeframe in obtaining a degree, plus the opportunity for substantive study abroad, puts Hult on the forefront of modern learning, attracting students from over 80 countries. Other MBA programs may have partnerships with schools overseas or options for study tours, but neither offers an opportunity for real-world education in a city where students can aim to launch their careers.
“A study tour is more like a business trip, and there’s limited continuity with school partnerships, so the experience is patchy” says Hodges. “We’ve selected cities that are business centers and where there is strong demand from employers.”
San Francisco, with its rich history of nurturing high-technology companies and other innovative businesses, is an ideal locale for Hult’s centrally located campus.
