Hult International Business School, the world’s first global business school, and the first academic institution from the United States to be licensed in the UAE, is celebrating the graduation of its inaugural class. On August 20^th, 97 students from 29 countries will graduate from the School’s top-ranked MBA program.

Formerly known as the Arthur D. Little School of Management, Hult International Business School has established itself as a leading provider of higher education. Hult’s students hail from all corners of the globe and are able to gain a truly global business education, with the average student speaking three or more languages. Furthermore, its global rotation program is a fantastic asset to students, allowing them to study elective modules in Dubai, Boston, London and Shanghai.

Hult’s MBA programs are highly ranked. The School is ranked 31^st best in the world by the Economist Intelligence Unit and was this year, for the first time, included in the Financial Times list of top 100 business schools. Despite the downturn, more than 40 per cent of Hult’s Dubai 2009 graduates have already accepted a post-MBA job, or are screening offers. Robin Nurse, Global Head of Careers Services, says “We are very encouraged by the employment rate. Despite the very gloomy business environment our students are finding positions and the current employment rate at the Dubai campus is outstripping the rate at our more established campuses in Boston and London. For the first year of operation, that is fantastic. I am very proud of these students.”

The academic year 2009/10 will also see the continuation of the popular Pocket MBA Seminars, intense two-day courses covering topical areas of particular interest to senior managers. In the past year this series was oversubscribed with more than 150 participants enrolling for each event.
