9 teams competed at Hult Dubai last month to pitch their idea of how to solve this year’s Hult Prize issue of tackling early childhood education in urban slums. From 3D printing to focusing on mothers, the teams in Dubai gave wide ranging and innovative solutions for this pressing global issue. The winning team – Tausif Mohammed, Fernanda Porto Rodrigues, Zamzam Asmar, Vaibhav Raisinghani – are all MBA students and reflect the incredibly multinational nature of Hult Dubai, as they all come from different countries: India, Brazil, Jordan, and Mexico.

The ideas were judged by prominent business professionals (Naseba Group and Cognizant Technology Solutions), education specialists (GEMS Dubai American Academy), social entrepreneurs (Children of the Mountains), and Hult faculty members, Merwyn Strate and Ashley Boots.
Scott Ragsdale from Naseba Group said: “It was a great experience, and a pleasure to hear all of the presentations. It has become even more apparent to me that Hult truly nurtures and elevates excellent talent.”
