With a goal to attract a new generation of global Asian business leader, the Hult International Business School is offering scholarships for the 2011-2012 academic year to industry experts in a variety of fields as well as to top university students or graduates majoring in business.
The MBA Industry Leaders Scholarship will be awarded to outstanding industry leaders in China, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and other Asian countries who have an expertise in consulting, financial services, information technology, and other key business areas.
The Master Degree Academic Achievers Scholarship recognizes excellence among elite university students and graduates with business majors centering on Finance, Information Technology, Accounting, Marketing, Engineering, or Business Management.
“By focusing our scholarships on both students as well as established industry experts, we can tap into a deep pool of potential business leadership,” said Hult President Dr. Stephen Hodges. “Against a backdrop of a rising Asia, these awards acknowledge the best and brightest talent in the region.”
Winners can receive tuition awards up to US$20,000, and there will be as many as 25 scholarship recipients in Asia. Hult offers a unique, one-year intensive MBA program and has five global campuses located in Boston, San Francisco, London, Dubai, and Shanghai.
The application deadline for both scholarships is August 31, and online applications are available at www.hult.edu/application. Interviews for selected candidates will begin September 15, and scholarship winners will be announced on October 15.
