The International, Public Works’s global bass party is back with more fire with Gladiator, Lil Elle, Ear Jerker, Baan, and BootyKlap. Enjoy $3 beers and cocktails until 10:30pm. Navajo Tacos by Rocky’s Frybread will be on the scene when munchies set in. Free cover till 11pm and $5 after that. Click here for more info.

PARTY
Mission Holiday Block Party
Friday, December 9 | 5 p.m. | Admission: Free
Spend your evening in the Mission snacking, sipping and late-night shopping at  independent local stores as the Mission District hosts its 4th annual Mission Holiday Block Party from 5-10pm on Friday, December 9, 2011.

Lots of the businesses along 16th Street and down Valencia will be offering live music, free drinks, live art and sale prices throughout the evening.

SantaCon 2011: City-Wide Santa Pub Crawl
Saturday, December 10 | 12 p.m. – 8 p.m. | Admission: Free
“Santarchy” is an annual  city-wide Santas-only pub crawl . This flash mob type event brings together hundreds of slightly sober people dressed in Santa costumes parading around the city, visiting landmarks (like walking down Lombard Street) drinking at bars and causing general mayhem.

And just so you know, wearing a Santa hat isn’t enough… get yourself a full-on Santa suit.

82nd Annual Holiday Tree Lighting
McLaren Lodge in Golden Gate Park
Thursday, December 8 | 5 p.m. | Admission: Free
An evening of holiday cheer in Golden Gate Park, the 82nd annual Holiday Tree Lighting, featuring live entertainment, activities for kids, refreshments, a cookie factory, train rides and a visit from Santa. Festivities on December 8 will begin at 5 p.m., with the tree lighting ceremony to begin shortly after dusk.

The event is free –  including the train rides, photo with Santa, refreshments and activities.

Lower Haight Holiday Art Walk
Fillmore and Haight
Friday, December 9 | 6 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. | Admission: Free
Stroll up and down Haight Street and see art shows, live painting, live music, drinks, snacks, merriment, and tons of specials. The  2011 Lower Haight Holiday Art Walk  takes place Friday December 9, 2011 from Steiner to Webster.
