A recent article by Information Age revealed a powerful truth about the modern workforce: 10% of workers hired in 2024 are in roles that didn’t even exist in 2000. Think about that. In just over two decades, entirely new career paths have emerged—data scientists, AI marketing analysts, and sustainability managers—driven by fast-moving technological change and global challenges.

This rapid shift means the skills required for tomorrow’s top jobs are changing—fast. According to the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report 2025, 39% of skills needed in the job market will change by 2030. The message is clear: staying competitive means staying adaptable. Hult’s Dual Degree program is designed to give you that competitive edge.

What is a Dual Degree?

A Dual Degree sees you earn two postgraduate degrees in different subject areas. You start the second degree immediately after completing the first. Think of a Dual Degree as two standalone degrees, each offering specialized knowledge in addition to the foundational work completed during a traditional single degree. It’s a fast-tracked way to equip yourself with the skills you need for the job you want.

At Hult, you’ll combine a general business degree, like a Global One-Year MBA or Master’s in Management, with a specialist degree in the area you want to work in, like marketing or finance. So, instead of taking a few electives, you can earn a whole degree in that subject and position yourself as an expert.

Take our 2-minute Dual Degree quiz to find out which combination of degrees will put you highest in demand with tomorrow’s top employers.

Why should you consider doing a Dual Degree at Hult?

1. Career acceleration. Two specialized degrees can be yours in just 18 months, so you’ll enter the workforce with a powerful combination of future-proofed skills that set you apart.

2. International experience and cross-cultural skills. With a Dual Degree, you’ll have the opportunity to study at multiple campuses around the world. This gives you the chance to expand your network, gain market knowledge, and develop global perspectives employers are looking for.

3. Expertise that gives you a competitive edge. Secure the job you really want—or be ready for the jobs of tomorrow. A Dual Degree equips you with essential core knowledge and builds on it with specialized expertise, helping you become a true subject matter expert.

4. Strong ROI. A full tuition scholarship on your second degree makes a world-class education more accessible—and delivers exceptional value. It’s a smart financial move that gives you double the expertise without doubling the cost.

Christian’s story: The Dual Degree in San Francisco

Born and raised in the Philippines, Christian has always had a passion for global experiences and a knack for bold moves. With a Bachelor’s in International Hospitality Management, he kicked off his career with internships in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, and Morristown, New Jersey—so when he came back to the US years later, it wasn’t his first rodeo.

Christian spent six years working in hospitality operations before deciding in 2019, that it was time for a change. He was set to start an internship in Savannah, Georgia, but the pandemic had other plans. Back home in the Philippines and suddenly grounded, Christian launched a product-based e-commerce business. It was a crash course in entrepreneurship—and a humbling one.

“I realized I had the hustle,” he says, “but not the fundamentals.”

That’s when a timely call from Hult’s enrollment team introduced him to our master’s degree options. Christian chose the San Francisco campus over Boston for one very specific reason: the weather.

From there, everything clicked. After completing his initial master’s degree, he kept the momentum going with Hult’s Dual Degree track—earning a second Master’s in Business Analytics.

“The Dual Degree program was the best of both worlds,” he says. “I got to develop my creative side and sharpen my analytical thinking.”

The long-term goal? To revive his business and bring it stateside, using every insight he’s picked up along the way.

“San Francisco wasn’t just where I studied. It’s where I started again—and this time, with purpose.”
