Some tips for taking a step back
Calm the mind
Do whatever you feel is needed to calm your mind. This can vary greatly from person to person. Maybe breathing exercises work for you, or putting on some relaxing music.
“Getting on the balcony”
Leave—figurally and literally—the place you’re at, and reflect more. Look at others and yourself within the situation.
Connect with others
Connect with other people, to get and to give new ideas.
