BOSTON, Mass., March 31, 2009 - Hult International
Business School, the world’s first global business school, announced today
that it is offering its MBA program alumni a unique opportunity to maintain their
business knowledge throughout their careers. Going forward the school has taken
the unprecedented step of giving all of its 4,500 MBA degree holders the option
of returning regularly to join elective classes for free.
Hult graduates can take one MBA elective course per year for the rest of their career.
They will receive a certificate for each elective course completed.
Robin Nurse, Director of Hult’s
MBA Career Services, comments, “In today’s fast moving environment, business
school graduates need to continually upgrade their skills to stay competitive. This
is particularly important in an economic downturn, since many employers carefully
evaluate their talent base.”
Hult, the first corporate university in the U.S., offers electives at its campuses
in Boston, London, Dubai and Shanghai. Alumni can take advantage of this global
footprint by choosing to participate in free electives at any campus.
Dr. Richard Joseph, Hult’s Dean, says, “This offer follows the school’s mission
to provide an enduring and relevant business education. Our international campuses
enable graduates to study wherever is most convenient for them, or in a location
they would like to understand in more detail. Many students already participate
in our Shanghai MBA program so they can fully understand the business opportunities
in China.”
Hult’s one-year MBA already offers the highest return on investment of any
top-ranked MBA program;. This opportunity for graduates to maintain their
business knowledge for free after graduation further strengthens Hult’s position.
Robin Nurse adds, “Typically schools charge around US$2,500 per elective. So this
new program can literally save alumni tens of thousands of dollars over the course
of their career. I know of no other business school which offers their alumni such
a valuable professional and networking opportunity.”
Hult International Business School operates campuses
in Boston, London, Dubai and Shanghai. Hult offers a range of business-focused programs
including undergraduate degrees and master’s degrees. Its flagship MBA program received
top rankings from both the Financial Times and the Economist Intelligence Unit.
